anticipating worship
Come ready to be welcomed.
Upon entering the church, often times you will be greeted by several people eager to shake your hand and welcome you to our church. Generally, this will be a door greeter and our pastors. Before heading upstairs, take a moment to check out any of the literature on the wall that we have giving you information about our church and synod.
Eat, drink and be merry!
After making your way up stairs, proceed into our fellowship hall to meet some of our members while you help yourself to the free snacks and coffee. Located here in the fellowship hall is our closed circuit television that will have a broadcast of our service on it during the service. Often times you'll find a parent in here during service along with a child or two. (Children are absolutely welcome in the sanctuary during service but sometimes they have a little too much energy for service and need to take a 'time-out')
Let us worship together.
As 10:30 starts to roll around, people begin to migrate in to the sanctuary at the top of the stairs. Usually there will be two ushers at the door to greet you, hand you a bulletin for the service and give the little ones an activity bag to keep them occupied. Feel free to sit wherever you would like—there's no assigned or reserved seating here! Our pastors tend to conduct the service from the front row, so if you don't like craning your neck to the side we recommend sitting no closer than the third or fourth rows.
At the end of service, the pastors will make weekly announcements for the church. When they are finished they usher everyone out row by row while shaking hands and thanking each person for coming. After exiting the sanctuary, feel free to grab some more coffee and snacks in the fellowship hall, hang out and get to know us or head out to enjoy your Sunday!
